I'm Easton Hairell, freelance photographer based in the greater Houston area, serving clients of all occasions.

Finding my style



I became obsessed. I spent countless hours reading photography manuals, watching tutorials, and experimenting with every setting until shooting in manual mode became second nature. Once I understood the technical side of photography, I shifted my focus toward creative storytelling through composition, motion blur, and unconventional angles, techniques that have continued to become a defining trait of my work.

For the next several years, nearly every photograph I took involved anything nature, whether it be landscape, animals, or bleak attempts at astrophotography.



At the end of my freshman year of high school, 3 years into my photography journey, my yearbook teacher encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone of purely nature photography, and explore sports and portrait photography. That encouragement opened an entirely new chapter in my career. Since then, I've had the privilege of covering a multitude of sports at the high school and college level, and I have since earned multiple photography awards and certifications because of it. I have also photographed events all throughout the Greater Houston area, and worked with dozens of seniors, athletes, families, and organizations to preserve some of their most meaningful moments in the boundaries of a picture frame.

Photography has taken me far beyond anything I imagined when I first picked up that old Pentax. Every session, event, and game presents an opportunity to tell another story, and I'm excited to continue creating images that people will remember for years to come.
